Family Matters and Community Conversations

Strengthening families. Building resilience. Nurturing future generations.

A safe, welcoming space where parents, caregivers, children, and youth explore the real opportunities and challenges of family life in a complex, changing world.

Why We Exist

Parenting doesn't happen in isolation.

Families are shaped by culture, community, technology, education, economic realities, and social change. Family Matters was created to help families navigate these realities — together, through accessible, engaging, and culturally responsive programming that brings parents, caregivers, educators, health professionals, and youth into the same room.

Purpose Statement

"Every family deserves access to trusted information, supportive relationships, and a strong community network."

— Hakili Community for Sustainable Development
